Education is an enabler.
A fundamental principle of Clear View Care is to provide inspirational, educational support to the young people we look after.
Going to school can be difficult for many young people. Feeling upset, dealing with other people and many other reasons, can make attending structured lessons, stressful and to be avoided.
Education is a vital aspect of any young person’s life. It is a central force for change and future development. However, we also understand that the issues faced by a young person can affect their learning abilities. Our educational ethos is to boost engagement by creating a supportive, caring and collaborative environment.
Each young person in our care is encouraged to reach their full potential and express themselves. We have developed a diverse range of academic and creative activities to inspire and challenge. By providing a rich and challenging educational experience, it is our aim at Clear View Care to nurture the skills and abilities that will promote self-belief, learning and independence.
Skills for the future.
We have links with local schools and colleges so that where appropriate, our young people will be encouraged and supported to engage with mainstream education.
Where mainstream education is not the best choice for a young person, we will secure additional opportunities via our third sector partnerships.
It is our goal to involve our young people in suitable specialist education, enabling them to gain the skills necessary to support themselves once they leave our care.
